Better Block Mini-Grants
This grant program helps strengthen our northside neighborhoods through resident-powered improvement projects. Neighborhood residents within the City of Bethlehem's Northside are eligible to apply for mini-grants that support community engagement events and build neighborhood pride.

Community Clean Up

Neighborhood Block Party
Northside Alive has supplies available for the community. If your block is interested in hosting a community clean up, reach out to schedule your event and receive access to our community clean up kit!
This is a great opportunity for local businesses, clubs and scouts to give back to their community and earn any required community service hours.
Items Available:
-
trash bags
-
high visibility vests
-
trash pickers
-
brooms and dust pans.
Northside Alive has a limited amount of funding available to support neighborhood organized block parties. Block parties are a great way to celebrate your neighborhood, share resources, get to know your neighbors and build a stronger community.
Northside Alive is able to cover permit fees (maximum of $250.00) for neighborhood block parties. [application permits, food truck permits, tent permits, etc]
Application Deadlines
March 28, 2025 — for block parties occurring May–July 2025
June 13, 2025 — for block parties occurring August–December 2025
